This was built by iFi to give you an experience like none other. They put a high current headphone amp coupled together with a 16-core XMOS micro controller to process the audio that is coming into the DAC to ensure you have the cleanest sound with the deepest bass, tight midrange and controlled highs.
The DAC can decode and covert signals up to Ultra Res level PCM 32 bit/384khz, and also plays back DSD256 Natively. All in that small little box! This is super impressive. It also does MQA if that's thing to you.
