Ferrum OOR
Headphone Amplifier
Welcome to the OOR, an all new class defining headphone amplifier. The OOR was developed by the team at Ferrum to work great out of the box however when paired with the HYPSOS power supply (using the separate Power Link Cable) then its in a whole new league that only Ferrum has defined. The OOR's entire signal path is fully balanced even when you use its single ended input as the input amplifier converts the RCA inputs to balanced. The sonic signature is focused on sounding balanced and very transient and as a result there is no listening fatigue. They are using 4 amplifiers which are discreet and based off of BJT transistors. They are using "not class A, its rather something between A and AB" power that is capable of driving the toughest headphone. The OOR has its own dedicated power supply which borrows technology from the HYPSOS.
